Homemade Quarter Pusher Cabinet

Three countries in crisis: Côte d'Ivoire, Tunisia and Algeria

I knew a friendly Côte d'Ivoire in 80s, then headed by Felix Houphouet Boigny. It is a country very friendly. Hence my sadness to see him in such a crisis since the coup of 1999, shall we say, especially since failure to comply with election results. I express the hope that it will regain its unity and peace, while respecting the verdict of the polls.

Two other countries are in crisis, Tunisia and Algeria. The crisis has a cause circumstantial, rising prices of basic commodities, but it's true in the world. She also has two more structural causes, the lack of democracy and the particularly unfair to poorer economic development.

Tunisia has just experienced a change in his head. I hope the elections will provide a fairer system. But first, I hope that this country is going to find civilian peace soon!

Finally, Algeria is experiencing events similar to those of Tunisia, but the situation seems more secure, it seems. I express the hope that she knows a move towards democracy that preserves civil peace.

And in any case, these two countries can avoid the terrible pitfall of Islamism and its aggressive intolerance.
